Aahhhh… the month of bloomin’ flowers…. At last!!!

My little nose has been twitchin’ for days!! So many scents to sniff, some new, some familiar, some floral, some funky!, But, as with most things, there is also a down side (whine… whine…)!!  ALLERGIES!! (Grrrrr…) runny noses, coughs, sneezing, YIKES!!

But on the plus side, at least the weather is warmer!! Rufff… Rufff… !!

Everything seems to be blooming and budding all around, especially my favorite trees and bushes…

(If you get my drift!! Aroooooo….)!!!!May is also a big month for human happenings… the biggest of which is Mother Day on May12th. This is when humans pay homage to their mothers for all their hard work during the year !! It is also a time to honor those mothers who have passed.

May Day is a big ancient celebration in honor of the halfway mark between the vernal (spring ) equinox and summer solstice!!

Memorial Day is set aside to honor all the men and women who have given their lives in service to our Great Country !!!That weekend also celebrates the opening of the swimming pools in Panther Valley… Hooray!! Too bad I can’t use them… (whimper.. whimper…) so ask your humans to be extra careful, people will be out and about!My four legged friends also ask those speeders to slow down… because you never know what’s around the bend !!! So, please ask your humans to slow down, and save a life !!!I was saving this last holiday for best and most fun!!!!

Cinco De Mayo !!!! Let’s have some fun!!! This is the day that Mexico got its independence from Spain, so it is a day of fun and music and dancing. My humans sometimes have a party, and celebrate by drinking something called a margarita… a drink that makes them feel very happy!! They won’t let me have any, but I try to sniff the glass whenever I get the chance. YUKKK… Not for me !!
