Greetings my two and four legged friends
,“August is here and so are the dog days of summer… HOT… HOT… HOT!!!
And that reminds me of a quote I heard from an old movie that my humans were watching recently: “ only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun!!” And I believe it , for sure !!!
When the temperature hits 90 degrees, stay inside !!! It’s much too hot to be outside… ESPECIALLY if you are walking your dog !! The streets and sidewalks can exceed 140- 150 degreesit’s hot enough to cause burns and blisters !!!So , please, when walking your dogs, only stay out for short periods, and try to walk on grass whenever possible.
And don’t forget to leave out plenty of fresh water (even add some ice).
YOUR DOG WILL APPRECIATE IT.
