Brady the Beagle says:Greetings my friends, both two and four legged:
I have waited all year for December to roll around, and finally its here!!! Do you know what I mean??Not only the great parties, the tasty food, and the extra playtime, but it’s time for a visit from SANTA PAWS !!!He always comes on Christmas Eve when everyone is asleep 💤. It’s strange that I NEVER hear him coming, because I hear everything. He must tiptoe past me….
And his sleigh… I don’t know how I miss that.. with all the reindeer galloping across the top of the house and all…
Which reminds me of something I heard…. “ where does Santa park his sleigh ??”
“On The Ruffff…!!!!” LOL!!! AROOOOOO…..!!!
…. Just a little human humor!!!
The next morning, Christmas Day, when we all wake up, there are lots of presents under the tree for everyone in the family, including the dogs… and cats!!! And we play with our new toys all day.. until dinner!!! While the humans eat their dinner, I get a special dinner too!! Some turkey and/or ham, and some vegetables, too!! The human food is soooo good!! But I only get a little so it doesn’t upset my tummy!! Besides, I have been given little snacks all day…. Shhhhh…
After dinner, everyone is so sleepy, so it’s nap time. But, before I go to sleep, I make one more trip around the table to make sure I got everything my humans may have dropped…..
One week after Christmas is the New Year (2024)!!!
New Years Eve is a time for my humans to celebrate the end of one year, and the beginning of a new one!!
It’s a big celebration at midnight, but it is also very scary for all four legged friends…. There are a lot of loud booms, from the fireworks, which scares us, and makes us very nervous, want to hide!
Also, a reminder that all human children will be out of school for winter break… so please, please, ask your humans to slow down and watch out for children, (And adults) who may be in the street!!!
And now for some Allamuchy Dog Park news!! Wooooofff, Wooooofff, Woooooffff, Arooooooo….!!!
We had a very successful Howl-O-Ween costume contest…. Each of our winners received a specially curated gift bag from The Allamuchy Dog Park!!
