I was just sitting around sipping my coffee (while Brady has some nice cold water!!)
It’s another one of those pesky dog days of summer. Guess we’ll just have lay back in the shade and take it easy!!
I can’t believe it is already July !!!
The flowers are blooming, the birds are singing(and their babies are chirping away)
All of my forest friends are tending to their new babies!!! And some of my older friends have died .
My human calls it “the circle of life.”
This brings me to a howling revelation? Too many cars speeding!!! Especially on Bald eagle and lower mallard, near the back gate!
Please, Please.. , please !!! Ask your humans to slow down and obey the signs!!! There are many many, children out of school, and they will probably be playing in the streets, or crossing the street.
The pools are open and in full swing!!! I see a lot of my human friends there, to whom I bark hello when I am passing by on my walks. I would love to take a swim just to cool off a bit, but, alas, pets are not allowed in the pool area…whiiiine…
The warm weather also brings out many other people and animals, to enjoy the sunshine. I know I love to stretch out on the deck and catch a few rays!!! Don’t forget to apply sun screen, SPF 15 or higher, and please watch out for sun stroke!
Stock up now on sun screen and have fun!!
Speaking of fun, we can play all the arcade games, while I sit outside, waiting, and waiting…finally, my humans emerge, and I am so happy to see them!!!
My humans already took care of securing the house, so we are all set!!!
And now for the Dog Park news! Woof…woof…woof….Arrrooooooo…!!
Bill and Ellen have been working very hard to make our Dog Park uniquely visible, and a great place to take your pooch for exercise and and a good romp around the ranch…
It was great to see all of you, and all the hot air balloons at the balloon festival!!!
