Greetings my two and four legged friends:
October is here and the cooler temperatures are here to stay!! Time to get out those thicker coats and jackets and sweaters , and time to let your human’s know that you sometimes get cold too!! Wooof!Also, ask your humans to add an extra blanket to your bed!! There I nothing worse than sleeping on a cold, hard floor in the winter!! ESPECIALLY if you are an older dog , or one with hip and leg problems !!
As we age we need to be more aware of how and where we walk, or run. Just stepping on a pebble the wrong way can lead to serious injury.and result in our humans being incapacitated for long periods of time!! Woooff…
Word has it in the forest that the Big, Black Bears are on the move closer to the human population… I just saw one the other day right in my front yard!!! He was walking across the street to my neighbors garbage can !! And what a mess he made looking for scraps of food, or any other tasty morsels he could find!!!
Storing up energy for their long hibernation ahead.
So, please ask your humans to not put out their garbage until the morning of trash pick-up !!!
And now for the dog park news !!! Woooff….Woooff…Woooff… Arooooo!!!!With over 100 members now, our dog park is thriving!!! And thanks to our members for keeping it so clean and green!!!
We are gearing up for our Big Members Only HOWL-O-Ween Costume Contest !!! Prizes awarded for best costumes!!
So dress up (and your human too!!!) in your best costume, and come join the fun !!!
