G’day my fellow Allamuchians,
And anyone else who is willing to read my articles !!! Ha, Ha, Ha!!
To begin with , I was in the middle of my monthly howling at the Moon, when I actually looked up and noticed how beautiful the moon really was!!!
It was called the pink moon, and it was so big, and sooo PINK!!! It made me want to howl all night long… AAARRRRROOOOOO !!!
It is so amazing what Mother Nature has created for animals and humans alike, to enjoy!
There are millions of scents to enjoy every day, and in every season of the year!! Some are very delightful, and some not so nice.
Admittedly, we canines prefer the strongest… and I’m not sure why, since our noses can sniff out the faintest scent from miles away… go figure!!! Rufff…Rufff!!!
And speaking of scents, I am still noticing a lot of dog poop left in the grass!! Please… Please ask your humans to pick up after you! It takes less than a minute to grab the pile in a plastic bag, tie it up , and dispose of it… surely your humans can find an extra minute on your walks!!!
Also, if your humans use a dog walking service, ask your humans to speak to the dog walker about this… it is important for all of us to do this since there can be many parasites living in dog poop, which can be passed along to dogs just by sniffing poop and inhaling spores and eggs.While we are on the subject, ask your Humans to have the veterinarian perform a “Fecal Test” just to make sure there are no parasites living in you !!!!
On a lighter note, the Allamuchy Dog Park is still going strong!!! Rufff…Rufff…Rufff…Aroooooo!!!! membership has increased, and with all the new and existing members, we are in a very good place !! And we are working diligently on addressing the lock problem…

On your next walk, stop and smell the flowers!!!
