And yet another month has passed ! I can’t believe we are already in the month of September!!
Summer is winding down, and soon the colors will start to change, and the leaves will begin to change color, and some of them will begin to drop as the trees and shrubs ready themselves for the long winter ahead.
This is my favorite time of year… the temperature is still warm, but the heat of the summer is gone. The nights are cool and the windows are open (now I can hear – and bark at – all the night noises) and my humans will yell at me to stop.. but I don’t care!! I am protecting my house, and keeping them safe !! Ruffff… Ruffff !!
Now that Summer is just about over, it’s time for all the human children to go back to school, so they will be out running to catch their busses and not paying attention to traffic. So ask your humans to please, please, be careful when driving!!! Ask them to obey the speed limits, and more importantly, PUT DOWN THEIR CELL PHONES WHILE DRIVING!!!
Our children are our future, and their lives are precious!!
There was a lot of excitement last month in Allamuchy… it was the 150th Anniversary!!! Our human mayor, Rosemary Tuohy did a tremendous job putting it all together !!!
There was so much excitement with bands playing, food trucks with all kinds of delicious food, and even a hot air balloon… it was so tall that I could see it from my deck!!!
I wasn’t able to go because I am still very scared of loud noises, and still very nervous.
My humans told me all about it!!
Kudos to Rosemary and her staff !!! Rufff…. Rufff…. Rufff…. Aroooooo!!!
And now for the dog park news…
The hot days of July and August are behind us, we can enjoy running around and enjoy the pools and sprinkler. For those who didn’t know, the pools are self service, for the enjoyment of all, so please empty them when you are through.
Enjoy the park, and please don’t forget to pick up after us!!!
